With all the changes we’ve endured during the pandemic, it’s good to know that there are some positive things to look forward to in the coming months.  While many offices might be temporarily closed and travel put on hold, the focus for many is still on serving the IT community. Every year, we look forward to IT-focused events and conferences to stay up to date on current trends and advancements in technology. This year, even with the concerns of large gatherings of people,  the IT community has pivoted to accommodate the need. Many, if not all, have gone virtual to serve their partner communities, with many being totally free, and we couldn’t be happier. Maybe in the past it would have been difficult to take a few days to get away to attend one of these events but this year, there’s a whole new spin! Here are 4 events turned virtual you won’t want to miss.

Variphy’s block party boasts $10k in prizes, live product demos and Q&A’s, at this 100% digital event. The IT Ninjas at Variphy are definitely not boring and you'll have a great time learning why Variphy is a great option for your business or taking your current installation up a notch. Variphy's Block party will  place June 1st & June 2nd, this free event really seems like a party!

VMWorld

VMWorld will be a digital, online event taking place the week of September 28th, 2020. While not much else is set in stone for the event, VMWorld will host online learning experiences where professionals can hear new technology solutions, hear perspectives from VMware executives, dive into educational and technical content, and engage with industry experts. Learning tracks include App Modernization, Multi-Cloud strategies, Intrinsic Security and Digital Workspace. Take a peek at 2019's Keynote address which was perhaps a harbinger of things to come by Shankar Iyer and Shawn Bass. They jumped headfirst into championing the employee digital experience.

While it may have seemed like this year’s industry leading events may have been a wash, it’s great to see our fears being dashed. Instead of missing out on all the learning experiences, we all get the added benefit of watching them in our own homes.
